I’m a fan of random street art. Many subjects of said art are controversial or arcane, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find anyone between the ages of 30 and 70 who are neither fans of, nor familiar with, MISTER MIYAGI (a.k.a. Pat Morita).
Seeing this gem on the side of Pedal Hard on T & 17th St made me want to do a crane kick. Alas, that would be unsafe while cycling. Coincidentally, I did see someone painting a fence, but I did not see anyone waxing on or off or catching flies with chopsticks, so the serendipity ends there.
